Still pretty energetic, not just because of the beer, I just finished law exam, for now my hands are free to tackle the most important problems and chase my dreams.
First talk about problems I have. Actually it's just one word: money. I'm running out of money. Cash plus saving in bank there's just less than 180 Euro left, I have only 26-27 days left before next month's rent dues. I have this 20 some days to make at least 120 Euro so that I won't end up on street again.
A few days ago I've already made this plan in my mind: as soon as I finish law exam, go out there to get a job again, no matter what job. Now it's time to honor my own words.
Today I watched a whole lot of Casey's vlogs again, of course, in one of the vlog he talked about, why he didn't get an awesome job for his son Owen, instead letting him working at a doughnut shop. The reason, as he explains, really strike in my heart and after reading the comments I know that it's not just me, many people are with him: when you are young, your very first job shouldn't be a comfortable, cool, enjoyable job, it should be a job that makes you understand what it means to earn a dollar, a job that makes you always hold respect to people work at coffee shop, restaurant, hotel whatever, even if one day you become rich, you'll still remember that it wasn't easy for others, and you'll appreciate what others do.
I'm glad that I had experience working at hotel, started from pretty much the lowest point as a receptionist. Before I worked at hotel, and even when I was working there, some sort of pride constantly came to my mind telling me that I'm meant for something big, not the lowest job, not to be a pawn for others, well, now look back I think I would think different if I had another job.
People should look for higher goals, yes, but a relatively long period of time working at frontier is really necessary. It teaches you to appreciate yourself and others, and that's the most important lesson I've learned today.
Speaking of Casey Neistat, I kind of feel like starting my own film production business, do a little commercial for local business like Rhett and Link used to do, that should be fun, now question is ... no, there's no question, just do it!
I designed a pretty cool cover picture for my youtube channel tonight, it was a photo snapped from my today's vlog. Today I tried some other video tricks inspired by Casey such as put the camera on street let it roll and walk by it as if you are just minding your business as normal. I tried it several times, have to say that I love it. My father has tried many many times to teach me film making, but all he managed to do was to make me get sick of video making, now watching Casey's vlog the tricks and shots just very naturally grew in my mind, it itches me if I don't use them myself. That is the real way to learn anything, through inspiration, not lecturing. Unfortunately in most institutes lecturing dominates education.
It's getting late and I shall go to sleep soon, tomorrow morning work on my CV and start vlogging about searching for job! Sounds totally fun!
