I don't understand why quick level up tutorials on YouTube always suggest people to make the skills they use legendary. To me it's the opposite that makes more sense, I have 100 skills of one-handed and heavy armor and I would never legendary them for leveling up reason, it brings far more frustration than benefits of a few levels gained by these two essential skills, considering how difficult it is to level up these two skills in later stage, plus the loss of many valuable perks such as heavy armor doesn't weigh you down etc.Instead I like to legendary the skills that I usually don't use, blocking, illusion etc.
Sneaking: I watched this video on YouTube and this is so far the most efficient level up method I've ever used, you just get a low damage dagger, sneak up to Greybeard and cut them from behind, trust me, your sneaking skill almost levels up every one cut you give up until you reach about 40-50 Sneaking skill level. It won't take much time for you to level up your sneaking skill from scratch all the way to 100. Just remember to often save, from time to time the Greybeards may notice your sneak attack and if so, you'd be dead.
Blocking: You can just find some giants and keep blocking their attack, it's simple. Highly recommend to find Forsworn Briarheart, because these warriors have the fastest attacking rhythm and equally high damage compared to other common enemies, therefore you could receive more damage from Briarheart than from a Giant within the same amount of time.
Mixing blocking with healing can keep you leveling up as long as you want. If you wear some light armor you can level up it along the way if you allow them to get you bypass the shield.
You might consider to do something else such as listen to an audio book or news while doing leveling up, otherwise it's just gaming for gaming, quite a waste of time isn't it?
