Who Reads My Blog, Does My Voice Get Heard, Ever?

With so many news articles, posts, tweets generated every second around the world, what is the position of my words, my blog?
An article written by me, an ordinary person somewhere in the world, can reach a few friends maybe, a handful of strangers if lucky, it's simply impossible for the world to hear my voice, isn't it? 7 out of 7 billion people will ever read this post probably.

How can we ever make our voice heard? We give our opinions through typing words into computer and eventually end up in a database somewhere at the other side of the world, a few hundred bytes of information, sank to the bottom of the enormous sea of internet, just resting there forever.

If I had more money, I could pay for google, facebook ad, so that my opinions will be more widely seen and exposed, maybe someone shares the same interests as I have will click through it and read my posts. But what if we don't have that much disposable money for ads, our voice on the internet sometimes can be even weaker than shouting on the street, at least people hear you.

We can just hope, that we are making a impact, not directly to the world, but gradually, bit by bit, first pass our ideas to someone who bumps into our blogs, there's a chance that they like it, share it.

I used to dream about how if I write a whole bunch of stuff and someday, maybe even after I died, people would eventually discover my works and appreciate them, so that my thoughts weren't in vain, my ideas weren't just for myself, my life wasn't printless. But it was just a dream, I will never have that luck to have people discover my great great works, not even in a hundred years, if I don't write, if I don't take action.
